This ebuild does not compile the application from sources. Could you please
rewrite it so that it does?

Why? See http://www.gentoo.org/~karltk/why-build-java-code.html

To clear up my buglist, I'm moving this one to NEEDINFO. If/when you get
around to writing the code for compiling stuff from sources, just REOPEN
it. Thanks.

If this is to be included into the tree, we need

1) An initial ebuild that builds the entire plugin from source
2) A stable maintainer for it

Anybody interested in trying this, should inquire at gentoo-java@lists.gentoo.org or the #gentoo-java channel on irc.freenode.net

Marking as REMIND, so that it shows up on the orphaned ebuild search in the Gentoo Java Wiki.
