Currently, when I run "emerge -avuDN world" mask warning is shown at top of ouput: !!! The following installed packages are masked: Calculating world dependencies ..- dev-util/jam-2.5 (masked by: package.mask) /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask: # Ryan Hill <dirtyepic@gentoo.org> (16 Mar 2008) # Mask for removal on 16 Apr 2008 # upstream unresponsive, replaced by dev-util/ftjam # Bug #173703 ... done! [ebuild U ] app-arch/bzip2-1.0.5 [1.0.4-r1] USE="-static" 822 kB [ebuild U ] dev-db/sqlite-3.5.6 [3.5.3] USE="threadsafe -debug -doc -soundex -tcl" 2,485 kB [ebuild U ] sys-apps/pciutils-2.2.9 [2.2.7-r1] USE="network-cron -zlib" 229 kB [ebuild N ] media-sound/gsm-1.0.12-r1 61 kB [ebuild R ] sys-devel/patch-2.5.9 USE="-static (-build%)" 0 kB [ebuild U ] app-portage/eix-0.12.1 [0.11.0] USE="-doc% -sqlite" 267 kB [ebuild U ] media-libs/libart_lgpl-2.3.20 [2.3.19-r1] USE="-debug" 296 kB ... The problem is when a lot of packages will be updated, in that case, I have to manually scroll up for viewing the message. I think that would be better show this message at the end of output instead (like is currently done with blockers) Thanks Reproducible: Always
