I am trying to emerge the monolithic qt-4.4.0_beta1 by having all unmasked and ~x86ed and trying a emerge qt, but it is horribly slow, because as I can see, for every package (at least 14), the qt-x11-opensource-src-4.4.0-beta1.tar.bz2 is extracted at the beginning of emerge, and deleted at the end (clean). noclean does not solve the issue, because it only is a 50% workarround. Wouldn't it be better to have only 1 qt package with all IUSEs needed to avoid this? (I know, and this is related to the bug requesting USE dependencies..) Reproducible: Always
