Description Paul-Sebastian Manole 2008-03-07 06:41:43 UTC
[ebuild N ] app-crypt/gnupg-2.0.7-r1 USE="bzip2 ldap nls -doc -openct -pcsc-lite (-selinux) -smartcard" 0 kB

Fails at applying the IDEA cypher patch. Wasn't support for this supposed to be dropped from Gentoo?

gnupg is actually building as a dependency to mcabber with USE="crypt" so I removed that use flag not to build gnupg.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge gnupg
Actual Results:
Ebuild fails to compile

Expected Results:
Apply the patch and continued compilation

I was running emerge -uavDN world, with no major flags changed except 'crypt' for mcabber. I previously emerged mcabber with -crypt but I decided to remove the flag and when the time came to update my system, mcabber was to be re-emerged (not updated, there was no later version in the tree) and gnupg as a dependency.

I don't understand!
What does not work, please provide ebuild output.
Works for me.

This doesn't work... has nothing to do w/ ebuild or patch.

emerge --info please and emerge -pv prelink if you are using that.

Sorry, no I don't use prelinking.
I was talking about this over IRC and then out of nowhere some guy said he had a similar problem and he re-emerged sandbox. Guess what? It worked for me too. :D
