I use links-2.1_pre28-r1 in framebuffer console, i do not have X installed, links compiled with Unicode and my locales LC_ALL=es_ES.UTF-8. Links works ok in text mode allowed input and display non-ascii characters , but in graphic mode, "links -g", not allowed to enter from the keyboard characters non-ascii, however if the display web pages correctly. Thanks. Reproducible: Always

Thanks.
Someone finally remove las0mbra@ig.com.br from metadata.xml please; proxy maintainer without bugzilla account is not useful at all.
ok, thanks.
Does this go away with pre33?
(In reply to comment #6) > Does this go away with pre33? > With pre33, this problem still occurs
I first feared that it was due to our unicode patches...but it isn't. Without USE=unicode it still fails (please check). Could you please report this error upstream and inform us here on the bug about the results? There is a bug reporting section in http://links.twibright.com/development.php
Here is what Mikulas (upstream) had to say: Hi You must select keyboard type with Setup->Miscellaneous options->keyboard codepage. But if you have UTF-8 keyboard, it won't work because UTF-8 keyboard is not supported. I suppose we can't really fix this, I'm sorry :-(.
