it is that this package is p.mask-ed , but just bumping is not correct. the deps are wrong and should be fixed and it should use the gnome.org SRC_URI . lu_zero, you should _check_ these things or otherwise please leave it to the gnome team.

besides that, to my knowledge nautilus-cd-burner will not work correctly for a general user unless you fix some access rights for several lowerlevel apps it uses. Since you added this ebuild lu_zero, could you also fix these issues or assure me they are non existant.
Comment 3 Luca Barbato gentoo-dev 2003-05-15 11:54:12 UTC
Ok, made some changes as requested.

still, it IS p.masked because it has serious usability issues and when the new nautilus will appear that packaged will be completely removed.

It is present just because somebody (not me) seems to like have that as ebuild.

The configure doesn't look for cdrtools and that's why I didn't include it as RDEPEND, excuse me for the mistake.

Still cdrtools have to be suid to the cdrw group but that is a cdrtools issue not a nautilus-cd-burner issue.

Assigning to gnome@gentoo.org team, up to them chose to remove completely or fix it.

hmm you added it in the first place, but you know i wasn't all happy with that either. There is no need to honour a user request if you have good reasons against it.

Besides that, the deps are still incorrect and with the src_uri fix i meant that you should let the eclass take care of it. But no need to fix that now, we'll have a look at it later on, this package needs serious work probably to get right.
