Were getting enough bad press as it is. To show the world were still alive it is imo important to post a new message on the news page. Currently it look like the Gentoo project has come to grinding stop since 15 October 2007 which only fuels the rumors. If anyone is willing to give me access to CMS I can at least post a small message that an official statement will be posted soon. Reproducible: Always
Please stop filing these bugs. For one, you were told in the other bug that this is being worked on, already. Second, Infra has nothing to do with the CONTENT on the site. This bug area is supposed to be for errors with the site, not content requests. Also, we don't use a CMS.

They are working on a public announcement, this has nothing to do with the news section. . Second, Infra has nothing to do with the > CONTENT on the site. Chris you sound a bit agitated, therefor I feel it necessary to explain myself.I only try to help Gentoo, I realize you guys are busy, that is the I so boldly offered to update the news myself.

We commit XML files into CVS and the webnodes pull out of CVS. The webserver uses XSLT and XSL to transform the XML into HTML. > > Chris you sound a bit agitated, therefor I feel it necessary to explain > myself.I only try to help Gentoo, I realize you guys are busy, that is the I > so boldly offered to update the news myself. > You aren't getting commit access to gentoo/xml/htdocs/ ;) I appreciate the effort though; we will get something out soon, please be patient.
