Description Arvid Norlander 2008-01-12 19:23:16 UTC
nfsmount boot script in net-fs/nfs-utils-1.1.0-r1 seems broken. Each time I try to use it, it gives an error in depcache. Also each time depcache is "regenerated" it shows up too.

When I check that file and that line it says:

  # Actual depend() function ...
  depend() {
        local myneed=""
        if [ -e /etc/fstab ] ; then
                awk '!/^[[:space:]]*#/ && $3 == "nfs4" { exit ($4 ~ /sec=krb/ ? 1 : 2) }' /etc/fstab
                local ret=$?
                [ ${ret} -ne 0 ] && myneed="${myneed} rpc.idmapd"
                [ ${ret} -eq 1 ] && myneed="${myneed} rpc.gssd"
        fi
        config /etc/fstab
        need net portmap rpc.statd ${myneed}
        use ypbind dns rpc.idmapd rpc.gssd
        return 0
  }

The listed script is "#*** /etc/init.d/nfsmount ***".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run /etc/init.d/nfsmount status

Actual Results:
 * Caching service dependencies ...
/var/lib/init.d/depcache: line 752: config: command not found
/var/lib/init.d/depcache: line 844: config: command not found [ ok ]
 * status:  stopped

Expected Results:
Should work, should not produce warnings.

Please search... Plus what's exactly MAJOR about a completely harmless warning?
