media-video/vdr-1.5.x and his plugins should use for language install the LINGUAS variable in /etc/make.conf

Generally it should be installed the language parts english and the given variable in LINGUAS.
Most of media-plugins/vdr-* are not full translated in all Languages.

- first improvements has added to vdr-1.7.27

this will finaly fixed/added in cumming up next major release (vdr-2.0.ebuild)

also we will try to add this in the vdr-plugin-2.eclass

LINGUAS support is now supported in

media-video/vdr-1.6.0_p2-r9
media-video/vdr-1.7.27 :overlay vdr-devel:
eclass/vdr-plugin-2.eclass

Note: support the linguas handling in all plugins need to migrate the plugins to the new vdr-plugin-2.eclass

Please keep in mind, the could be a while for the lot of plugins we have.

Please don't open bugs for this new feature, they will still ignored/closed ...

We work on this as we can...
