Thanks very much for pointing this out. It's now been bumped in the vmware overlay (which you can try out using layman) and should hit the main tree in a few weeks after some testing... 5:)
In the overlay, the figest for vmware-any-any-update114.tar.gz is missing.
I have emerged this from the vmware overlay and get this error when I try to start it. -(~)- vmware terminate called after throwing an instance of 'Glib::FileError' Running the debugger on vmware gives... -(/opt/vmware/workstation)- vmware -G GNU gdb 6.6 Copyright (C) 2006 Free Software Foundation, Inc. works well for me, please bump
only one thing: app-emulation/vmware-modules-1.0.0.17 VMware-player-2.0.1-55017.x86_64.tar.gz should be bumped to new version as well
um, this was just deleted out of the overlay and it's not in the tree. VMWare now wants to rollback to 6.0.1
This should still be present in the overlay. It's possible that the manifest had been broken, please check the actual files to see what's going on and let me know. Thanks... 5:)
it seems to be still listed in the manifest, i just updated eix and it doesnt appear in there anymore either.
Kalidarn, can you please run an "svn up" in your overlay directory and see if that puts the file back, and if it doesn't, paste the results of running svn up here please. Thanks... 5:)
Mike i'm using this and got no issues, can you make this hit the portage?
Hiya Patrizio, sure, I've pushed it into the tree now, sorry for the delay. Give it a couple of hours to synchronize and then give it a go. I'm going to mark the bug as FIXED. If you have any problems with the ebuild, please open a new bug. Thanks... 5:)
works fine for me now, i've removed the overlay.
