Description René 'Necoro' Neumann 2007-10-01 23:14:04 UTC
GtkSourceview is a GTK+-widget for syntax highlighting. It would be nice to have a language specification for the gentoo ebuilds provided.

As asked in bug #155350 comment #21 I open a new bug instead of using the old one.

ebuild.lang

The ebuild.lang for gtksourceview-2.x

Note: I renamed it from gentoo.lang to ebuild.lang, as this is more specific. If there are plans to add highlighting for other gentoo specific files, we should use a new file.

ebuild.lang

Small fix and also added support for eclasses

Hmm... The two should definitely be named the same thing... I don't particularly care what they're named, but if this goes in as ebuild, then the other should also be renamed ebuild, to avoid confusion.

I don't care either ... I only wanted to be more correct ;) ... Leonardo wanted his lang file to also highlight other gentoo'ish stuff...

If you are going to rename this file, you need to rename some stuff in the *.lang file too...

Ok - I saw, that gtksourceview:2.0 now hit the tree. Would it be possible to get the lang file (either as ebuild.lang or as gentoo.lang) there into? This would ease certain tasks...

Thanks :)

gentoo.lang

For your convenience: Here is the same lang file, but now named gentoo.lang (all changes needed in the lang file itself are done too).

Sorry, this dropped off my radar. In portage now.
