if you go online database (message about bug) then click  on the installation docs link on the LH menu it gives you http://packages.gentoo.org/doc/en/index.xml?catid=install#doc_chap2 as the url 

The requested URL /doc/en/index.xml was not found on this server.

Reassigning to infra, since they'll need to take care of the links once the server is back up.

It's not a documentation team issue.

Not at all. The wrong links are in the current static file (my mistake).
Can anyone with the proper access rights replace the current index.html with the attached one? Thanks.
