I do not care much which flavor is supported and if an extra package is needed.
However, software suspend is around for quite a while and became standard feature of the kernel and many distributions.

There is a nonexistent suspend package mentioned in the man page or somewhere.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. compile a genkernel
2. suspend the system to disk
3. turn the system on

Actual Results:  
The system reboots

Expected Results:  
the system resumes
