Description Daniele C. 2007-08-17 14:07:29 UTC
I have run:
emerge scite

everything went ok but now my SciTe editor does not recognize the Ctrl+C or Ctrl+V hotkeys.
If I access the edit menu, the relative copy/paste menu items work instead

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.select a snippet of text
2.press Ctrl+C
3.delete the snippet of text pressing Delete or Backspace
4.press Ctrl+v

Actual Results:
nothing happens

Expected Results:
the copied text should have been pasted

the menu items under "Edit" do instead work
Comment 1 Daniele C. 2007-08-17 15:00:34 UTC
To be more precise: copy&paste WORKS within the same instance of SciTe but does not work between different instances of the application
Comment 2 Daniele C. 2007-11-05 07:48:19 UTC
When I close down SciTe the clipboard is not preserved. I have tested v1.72 and v1.74

The same happens to 1.72, 1.73 and 1.74 - please file bug in Bug Tracker for SciTE: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=2439&atid=102439

Comment 5 Daniele C. 2007-11-07 13:34:46 UTC
The author is not going to work on this bug because he has not Gentoo or XFCE4.

Comment 6 Daniele C. 2008-08-12 13:19:34 UTC
fixed when using a clipboard manager like Glipper, Klipper or xfce4-clipman
