Version 9.0.48.0-r1 of the flashplayer is missing the "flashplayer" start script formerly installed by 9.0.48.0. The only trace of this change in the ChangeLog is:

  14 Jul 2007; <tester@gentoo.org> netscape-flash-9.0.48.0.ebuild:
  Remove file that no longer exists

It would be nice to install that file again.
