I tried to install gentoo and it failed.
I could give more details if I could retrieve the /var/log/install.log.failed file.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.go through entire install process to the point where it is installing selected packages
2.

Actual Results:  
install error

Expected Results:  
install successful

I wanted to send the log.install.failed file but I can't seem to find it after rebooting.
I guess I would have to know how to mount the /dev/hda1

Nothing we could do without the log. Reopen once you've attached it.
