Please find attached pybackpack-0.5.1.ebuild . pyBackpack is a GTK+ tool written in Python to backup files, originally by Dave Arter and now maintained by Andrew Price - http://andrewprice.me.uk/projects/pybackpack/ . The original ebuild submission is at - http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=109465 - and I've tried to improve the dependencies as best I can and pyBackpack continues to be actively developed. There is also an SVN ebuild pybackpack-9999.ebuild which I would also suggest for submission and have also attached (I am unaware of whether this should be submitted as a separate bug). Both are also available via SVN at - https://sucs.org/~welshbyte/svn/backuptool/distrib/gentoo/app-backup/pybackpack/ .

pybackpack 0.5.2 has been released.
Please also consider to keyword it for amd64. It should run on x86_64 also it is actually x86/ppc keyworded only.
Created attachment 181174 [details] Updated subversion ebuild Small changes to the svn ebuild to get it to work here; added a call to subversion_src_unpack, changed the keywords and added a couple of spaces that ebuild wanted. Seems to work ok on ~amd64, but I haven't been able to fully test yet.
Assigning to right herd.
pybackpack's current verison is 0.5.8. can anyone bump it please?
