I think that stabilising net-www/apache-2.2.4-r6 is good idea.
Maybe when the time comes... definitely not after 9 days in the tree.
With stable ACCEPT_KEYWORDS stable dev-util/subversion-1.3.2-r4 with USE="apache2" depends on >=dev-libs/apr-util-1.2.8 and =net-www/apache-2*. The newest stable net-www/apache has version 2.0.58-r2 and depends on =dev-libs/apr{,-util}-0*. Having both dev-libs/apr{,-util}:0 and dev-libs/apr{,-util}:1 on stable systems is against intentions of bug 178264. Also ~net-www/apache-2.2.4 is in the tree for ~5 months. I think that it was tested enough. 9 days ago was only revision bump. Alternatively a different solution should be found.
We'll stabilize it when ready; 'k thanks.
(In reply to comment #3) > We'll stabilize it when ready; 'k thanks. > Thx, I've spent 2 hours before understanding that the stable subversion needs an apache version compiled against the new apr-util like the 2.2 one :)
Also app-admin/apache-tools-2.2.4-r3 should be stabilised.
