On a mailrelay server the new clamav-0.90.3 causes very heavy cpu load. We can't use clamscan in the moment, because our mailservers load rises too high. Expected Results: With clamDscan there is NO high load problem. But we can't use it with our mailscanner system. relay ~ # clamdscan /tmp/eicar.com /tmp/eicar.com: Eicar-Test-Signature FOUND ----------- SCAN SUMMARY ----------- Infected files: 1 Time: 0.001 sec (0 m 0 s) relay ~ # There is already a bug report for the high load for app-antivirus/clamav-0.90.2 with refering to an update to app-antivirus/clamav-0.90.3. But this doesn't help, because the high cpu load is in both versions.
