Configuring radvd with a renamed interfaces like eth[A-Z][a-Z]* doesn't work.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. use udev to rename eth0 to ethAuth
2. configure radvd to use ethAuth

Actual Results:
version 0.9.1 started
syntax error in /etc/radvd.conf, line 10: A
error parsing or activating the config file: /etc/radvd.conf

Expected Results:
Working radvd

It seems to work with "ethauth"

Can you reproduce it with net-misc/radvd-1.0-r1 ?

It seems that the error is with any capital letter - can you verify this?

Re-open if you can reproduce this with 1.0-r1, thanks
