It compiles on ~amd64 but removes the /etc/init.d/ files.

Copied /etc/init.d/boinc and /etc/conf.d/boinc from the 5.8.15 ebuild.
Works like a charm now.

boinc-5.8.17 ebuild second version

Pay attention at the first version because it copies several locale file (in /usr/share/locale) not only the localization you want.
I also try to replace the following line : emake -j1 by emake .
On my computer, there is no compilation problem.

Is there a gentoo developper to help me to understand the strip-linguas function in ebuild ? Examples would be better.

In the tree is only version 6.4.5 with working linguas. So enjoy.
