sci-electronics/lard-2.0.15-r1 fails to configure before compile due to missing tclxConfig.sh. even though dev-tcltk/tclx-8.4-r1 is a requirement and gets installed first. Created attachment 114813 [details] config.log oops. didn't see that. I usualy post bugs about stuff working rather than not working.
Reopen.
Are there any features of lard that you don't find in balsa ? I'm asking this because lard has been unmaintained for about 4 years, relies on tclx-8.3 which is broken too (and the current fix seems to be to replace it with tclx-8.4 which lard doesn't like much), and shows signs other breakages. I'm very tempted to punt it. Denis.
(In reply to comment #4) > I'm very tempted to punt it. > Denis. I only reported it 'cause it's keyworded x86 & sparc. If you want to change it to ~* or !* thats fine by me. -dan
It's now masked. From package mask: # Denis Dupeyron <calchan@gentoo.org> (15 Mar 2008) # Masked for removal in 30 days. Requires Tcl 8.3 which # isn't in the tree anymore. See bugs 172356 and 173467. Denis.
This package has been removed from the tree. Closing this bug. Denis.
