After emerging sys-apps/coreutils-6.7 PPPoE fails to start.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge -u world
2. reboot


Actual Results:  
No connection to the internet is being established.

Expected Results:  
PPPoE (ADSL) should work.

Neither searching for ppp nor searching for pppoe returned a useful result. So I've filed a bug report.

The high number of duplicates suggests that bugzilla search is not very efficient for the common user.
