When trying to select a layout (e.g. Title), LyX doesn't make any change to the document and the following error is shown in the shell: ERROR (layoutSelected): layout not found! Tried executing lyx as follows: LC_ALL="en_US" lyx And all works fine. So it seems this is an issue with the Basque (eu) localization or locale environment. @tex folks - nice that you've split up the herd, but the bugzilla aliases don't exist and so the bugs are not assignable.
Could you try lyx-1.5.0_beta1.ebuild in Bug #168799?
(In reply to comment #2) > Could you try lyx-1.5.0_beta1.ebuild in Bug #168799? With the beta build it seems the problem has disappeared, although in the shell it's shown an error: Locale eu_ES could not be set But the UI is displayed in the correct locale.
> Locale eu_ES could not be set cant reproduce your problem with 1.5.0, eu_ES generates no such error for me. do you have properly generated locales ?
Works just fine w/ 1.5.1
