Somehow, my latest emerge managed to downgrade my ion-devel to 20020605 without me catching it and it crashed hard. I won't make a bug report on it since there is a resolution (upgrade ion-devel) and I didn't bothered to hunt down the problem (the release is over 6 months old). There are a bunch of patches that Tuomo has posted on the ion-devel mailinglist but I haven't bothered to post these patches since I had little hope that they'd be included before Tuomo makes his next release. I know you all are busy with more highprofile window managers, but for some of us, ion-devel is a really neat solution, so pretty please with sugar on top, update the ebuild. :) [/Rant warning] Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

See also bug 16077. I (gentoo@tompayne.org) am an avid Ion user, but have not moved from 20030131 to 20030225 yet because 20030225 doesn't seem to have stabilised properly.
Please note that the attached ebuild is missing some important information, such as that the configuration files have changed drastically since the previous release. And will _not_ work unless updated from the templates. This is the kind of thing users would like to know. ;) Besides, I'd rather see the autoconf version by Tom Payne than the sed hack that's there today. ;)
