This version is now installed: * x11-drivers/xf86-video-s3 Latest version available: 0.5.0 Latest version installed: 0.5.0 Size of files: 234 kB Homepage: http://xorg.freedesktop.org/ Description: X.Org driver for s3 cards License: xf86-video-s3 and results are the same as before: . . (EE) s3(0): No V_BIOS found . . s3 card integrated at sometime in the past. See 82791. Suspect problem is in xorg-server itself. Not in the driver
