Description Kevin Lyles 2007-02-19 17:58:42 UTC
Command: emerge --ask --verbose --update --deep --newuse world
Expected results: All updateable packages are shown in the list
Actual results: All updateable packages except fetch-restricted packages whose files were not already downloaded are shown. There is no indication that a new version is available. For example, I attempted to unmask dev-java/sun-jdk-1.6.0-r1, then run the above command to update. No packages were listed. When I explicitly attempted to emerge the package, dev-java/java-sdk-docs-1.6.0-r1 was listed with the fetch restriction shown. I can provide any other information needed, but I'm not sure where to start.

Whoops. Looks like sun-jdk wasn't in my world file. Marking as invalid.
