The new version of Konqueror has a regression, causing it to scroll to the top of the viewed page before loading a new one. Further info about the problem is in http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24820 , where a fix is suggested and its application is recommended. From the bug: 

"Attention packagers! Please include this patch in new versions of your 
 khtml-3.5.6 packages. Web surfing experience can be considered broken 
 without it."
