Description Sun He 2007-02-07 12:43:18 UTC
With ttyS0, minicom conflict with mouse and keyboard in x-window, when output rolling. it's ok in virtual terminal. With ttyS1, output is normal, but no keyboard.
This occurs after I install 2006.1.
I tried ubuntu's xorg.conf and livecd's kernel and module, the result is the same.
If this is my fault, sorry for disturbing.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install gentoo using livecd 2006.1, with gnome and xorg
2. emerge --sync, emerge minicom
3. in x-window, sudo minicom, then config
 Serial port setup
    Serial Device : /dev/ttyS0
    Bps/Par/Bits : 115200 8N1
    Hardware Flow Control : No
    Software Flow Control : No
then choose exit

4. start develop board.
Actual Results:
the cursor jumped here and there, right button menu spring out repeatedly. At last X-window may die.

Expected Results:
Output scroll down normally, shouldn't influence the host.

I will take a wild guess and assume your X is configured to use the mouse connected on ttyS0.
Please use forums if you what this kind of support.

I meant "if you want this kind of support", obviously.
Sorry for typo.
