Updated Gentoo on three computers, two had wxpython-2.6.3.3 installed and working prior to update. Update included moving to gcc-4.x from 3.x and to unicode. This was on the demo.py included with current wxpython-docs, but same results running other programs. This error occurs identically on the two boxes that had wxpython-2.6.3.3 running prior to update, and remains after many unmerge and re-emerge attempts. On the machine that did NOT have wxpython installed prior to update, an emerge of wxpython produces a working program. Results are the same using python2.4 or python2.5. I can install a working copy of wxpython-2.6.3.3 manually.
