configure sequence references /usr/share/doc/samba-3.0.22-r3 as the swat directory however the simple fact of a missing swat directory prevents anything swat for working. since this was a fresh build I can only assume that swat directory is just missing from the ebuild. I have managed to copy the swat directory from previous installed release on another server: samba-3.0.14a-r2 obviously it would be better to have the existance of the swat directory where it's supposed to be. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.emerge/configure samba 2.open browser http://hostname:901 3.ls -l /usr/share/doc/samba* check for existance of swat directory. Actual Results: Page cannot be found in browser, swat directory doesn't exist in /usr/share/doc/samba* Expected Results: existance of swat directory in /usr/share/doc/samba will return valid pages in a browser.

It always baffles me why previously default USE flags are removed for no apparent reason. Ok Cool, I'll throw swat into /etc/portage/package.use
