Description Conrad Kostecki gentoo-dev 2007-01-16 22:43:36 UTC
Hello!
sys-apps/hal-0.5.7.1-r2 will fail on new systems!

The Problem is related to sys-apps/pciutils-2.2.4

sys-apps/hal-0.5.7.1-r2 wants to have an pci.ids file ... but sys-apps/pciutils-2.2.4 uses now pci.ids.gz

So sys-apps/hal will fail! The easy workaround is just extract pci.ids of pci.ids.gz ... then it works!
