Comment 1 barthek 2007-02-05 10:34:38 UTC
hi,

is there any update on this one ?

I saw the autoconf downgraded in the portage tree (2.60 now)
but it did not change anything.
Comment 2 Sven Wegener gentoo-dev 2007-02-05 20:11:51 UTC
Which version of sys-devel/gettext do you have installed?
Comment 3 barthek 2007-02-06 09:47:20 UTC
Sven

I do not have gettext at all.
I have not used nls option at all
and did not need one.

Cheers
Comment 4 Sven Wegener gentoo-dev 2007-02-06 21:06:38 UTC
Bleh, i should have looked at the emerge --info output, sorry. Sadly we need gettext for an m4 file for rerunning autoconf.
Comment 5 barthek 2007-02-07 10:10:37 UTC
thats bad news,
i havent needed that crap for any of the other
packages.
and my system has been up and running gentoo for the last
couple of years now...
Comment 6 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-06-06 05:07:34 UTC
This bug is from 2007 and against version that has been removed from portage. None of the current versions run eautoreconf, or any of the other autotools.eclass functions. In fact it's not even inherited.

So closing...
