As an old mainframe hacker I have used Rexx all my working life. I tried regina-rexx on my Gentoo system but it seemed to have quite a few problems. What's more, the support forum and mailing list seemed moribund. Thus, since IBM have graciously released the source of Object Rexx to the open source community, I made an ebuild for myself. Since it works rather well, I thought I would submit it for inclusion in Portage. The package obviously belong in dev-lang.
