The following ebuilds are found to have broken autotools handling, as they run libtoolize directly (they never should, instead they should call eautoreconf in autotools.eclass, read http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/qa/autofailure.xml for more information): ./x11-libs/openmotif/openmotif-2.2.3-r3.ebuild: libtoolize --force --copy ./x11-libs/openmotif/openmotif-2.2.3-r8.ebuild: libtoolize --force --copy Please cleanup the ebuilds by asking for stable marking, removing obsolete ebuilds with no relevant keywords, or porting the fixes in newer versions (if presents) to properly handle autotools. Thanks, Diego ---- mips, mark stable -r9 ASAP Fabian, please drop ppc-macos stable keywording at least.
I do, but I can't do everything at the same time. openmotif-2.2.3-r9.ebuild unconditionally patches a makefile patch. In previous ebuilds this patch was applied conditional for ppc-macos because of the (not) available automake version. Please consider dropping it, as ppc-macos is now removed.
mips: Any hopes of ever getting a newer revision stable in the 2.2 slot?
(In reply to comment #2) > mips: Any hopes of ever getting a newer revision stable in the 2.2 slot? > There is nothing stable needing the 2.2 slot so I just deleted the ebuilds.
