games-mods_pkg_setup is trying to be too clever, because it has no concept of RDEPEND or PDEPEND, and so doesn't know that ut2004 is *due* to be installed.

The proper fix would be to remove the dies from games-mods_pkg_setup() and put them in individual ebuilds as normal.

The compromise fix is to make ut2004-bonuspack-mega DEPEND on ut2004, rather than RDEPEND on ut2004-data. And then wait for successive bites from this problem ;)
Comment 3 Peter Avramucz 2006-12-14 07:25:14 UTC
I have deleted this bonuspack dependenci from ut2004 ebuild, installed it, then put this dep back, and installed the bonuspack.
But someone should correct this!

Change the component back to "Games". It's a games eclass and a games ebuild, and it's a game ;)
