Description Josh Nichols (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-12-13 16:09:11 UTC
The significant difference between -r0 (stable) and -r1 is that -r1 is ported to modular xorg, and we're trying to prune all our unported ebuilds.

Please test and stabilize on your appropriate arch. Thank you.

Comment 3 Markus Rothe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-12-21 06:47:29 UTC
seems this package is not gcc 4.1 save. this does not happen with gcc 3.4

(this is ppc64 although)
Comment 4 Alexander Zubkov 2006-12-21 06:55:24 UTC
Fixed in upstream since 0.3.1.8beta2. May be add dependency in xfce-extra/exo-0.3.0-r1.ebuild like this:
<=dev-python/pygtk-2.9

Excuse me, pls. Missed tab in browser.
Comment 6 Markus Rothe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-12-21 07:30:35 UTC
ppc64 stable (compile issue with gcc 4.1 seems to be no regression to current stable version).

... and exactly the same for ppc.

Given this isn't a regression from current stable, for the remaining archs, please consider marking -r1 stable.
Comment 9 Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-12-29 15:41:47 UTC
x86 stable, though I am on holiday officially...
Comment 10 Octavio Ruiz (Ta^3) 2007-01-08 15:17:43 UTC
Depends on: bug #148725
Comment 11 Mike Hammill 2007-01-24 13:16:28 UTC
Would be nice as stable on ppc as well.
Comment 12 Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-29 12:52:30 UTC
arm stable
Comment 13 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-26 18:05:18 UTC
-r2 closes those compilation errors mentioned in this bug and 148725, please test and mark exo-0.3.0-r2 quickish stable.

thanks, drac
