Description Ivan Yosifov 2006-11-30 14:50:37 UTC
Setting USE="-doc" fixes it. The driver part builds fine, but the documentation fails:

make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.6.19-gentoo'
utils/link-modules /var/tmp/portage/media-sound/alsa-driver-1.0.14_pre20061130/work/alsa-driver-1.0.14_pre20061130

ALSA modules were successfully compiled.

I'll just remove the doc useflag, I admit I'm not sure which kind of documentation is being built, but if you think it's important to have it in Portage, I'd rather have it in a different package altogether.

I'll commit this tomorrow when I have an ack/nack for the ALSA_CARDS expansion.

I don't know either. I could not figure it out with a quick look around and I am sure you have more important helsa issues to take care of so I am not pushing for it.
