Kindly review http://bugs.gentoo.org/page.cgi?id=fields.html#bug_severity and emerge --sync before reporting bugs: > Last Sync: Sat, 28 Oct 2006 15:30:01 +0000 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 150198 *** *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 150198 ***
Worked fine, thanks a lot! Sorry for setting severity to 'blocker', but this is my very first report and the guide says "This bug prevents a software application from testing and use", which sounds very different from "Blocks development and/or testing work of Gentoo as a whole" to me. Maybe the description of 'blocker' in the guide should be updated to match the one given in "A Bug's Life Cycle" in order to prevent newbies like me from making such blunders. Simone
(In reply to comment #3) > Sorry for setting severity to 'blocker', but this is my very first report and > the guide says "This bug prevents a software application from testing and use", Oh, would you be so kind and file a bug about that?
Done! http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=156019
