When building a 2006.1/desktop system with default USE flags from stage1 (stage1-x86-2006.1.tar.bz2) and a sync from 5th November 2006 the openldap installation fails because it cannot find the groupadd command.  This command is not in the stage1 install, nor seems to have been bootstrapped. Shadow which provides groupadd is not scheduled to be installed until after openldap.

The openldap installation fails when attempting to merge to the normal system.  It attempts to create the group and then drops out.
