Description Chas 2006-10-22 04:56:10 UTC
Error messages from emerge are shown below. The emerge --info output is
shown after.

Numerous other packages failed as well (eg kde packages), either due to dependency on openjade or for other (unknown) reasons. Consequently, unable
to do an update world.

The problem doesn't come from openjade but from opensp. A patch fixing this issue has been added a while ago but no revbump has been done, so you need to reemerge it manually.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for info and quick response. This 'bug' has cause me a LOT of grief.
I have successfully emerged opensp: this fixed some things, still lots of other failures (which even revdep-rebuild couldn't cope with).... is it meltdown time?

Thanks for efforts, all the same.
Comment 3 Alexandre Buisse (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-10-23 14:08:55 UTC
Well, you need to better define "other failures". If you are still hitting the same error with openjade and the opensp include file, you can reopen this bug, otherwise please search for your issue(s) on bugs.gentoo.org and open new bugs if necessary.
