Description Jakub Burgis 2003-02-06 07:03:49 UTC
After a successful emerge, some packages print out some notes for the user - ie,
mod_php gives instructions on how to configure /etc/conf.d/apache[2]'s
APACHE_OPTS directive.

Quite frequently, I'll choose to emerge several packages at once, therefore
missing any installation notes if AFK.

It'd be helpful if Portage could (optionally) print these notes to a file
somewhere, so that they could be read and followed later.

Or if it could print all this information after emerging the last package.
