In the last few days, the MySQL 4.1 ebuild went into stable, but on upgrade, the MythTV backend and MythWeb pages (current ebuilds) fail because they say they are not compatible with the . Eh? mysql-4.1.x has been stable for ages... Plus this is working just fine, looks like you didn't upgrade mysql properly: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/mysql-upgrading.xml P.S. Please don't restrict bugs without any reason.
