Just tried to emerge gnash cvs using the gnash-20099999 ebuild and configure bombed out with the error:

ERROR: No BOOST development package installed! You need to have the BOOST development package installed to compile, or install libboost-thread1.33.1-dev
 and libboost-dev (using apt-get) or boost-devel (using yum).

I installed boost-1.33.1 and it compiled fine.

It has the 20099999 naming scheme as per bug #143320 instead of *-cvs, I should have put that clearer.
