Description kevin 2006-09-20 16:42:35 UTC
Emerge of netatalk fails when XFS is installed. Originally tested with XFS 2.7.11, upgraded to XFS 2.8.10 to see if it fixed the problem.

Arches can you please check if xfsprogs 2.8 should be marked stable? I'm quite sure the problem is due to the newer versions of linux-headers marked stable.
Comment 2 Gustavo Zacarias (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-21 11:11:54 UTC
Not for us, we don't have any xfsprogs stable (and xfs has issues on sparc).
Comment 3 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-21 11:34:30 UTC
Uhm sorry, now it does not build here either with 2.8, I thought that fixed it.

Old linux-headers had the problem.. this is going to hurt :/
Comment 4 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-21 12:19:15 UTC
Plasmaroo, suggestions?
Comment 5 Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-23 06:32:13 UTC
Okay, this should be fixed now, -r2 will drop xfs support entirely, while -r3 will require you to merge (at least temporarily) the old linux headers until xfsprogs is correctly fixed.
