running ant manually in /var/tmp/portage/jboss-3.2.5/work/jboss-3.2.5-src/build yeilds this error message: [javac] WARNING [javac] The -source switch defaults to 1.5 in JDK 1.5. [javac] If you specify -target 1.2 you now must also specify -source 1.2. [javac] Ant will implicitly add -source 1.2 for you. Please change your build file. I think i know what needs to be changed just havent really got any idea of how to produce a patch file etc, its abit out of my depth (i think) though i dont mind learning how...
OK so in tools/etc/buildmagic/task.properties the following variables are set javac.target=1.2 javac.source=1.3 Is the new java layout thing preventing ant from picking these up or overriding them?
The ebuild seems to be missing java-pkg in inherit, so the env is not properly set for gen-1 JDK.
so how do i go about altering the ebuild, and any idea what to put in there or should i just wait in hope that someone will commit an updated ebuild.
Just edit the .ebuild file and change the "inherit eutils" line to "inherit eutils java-pkg". Redigest after editing. Or wait few hours and sync, as the fixed ebuilds were just commited.
