Description Alexander Skwar 2006-09-17 00:01:43 UTC
I'm currently building mozilla-thunderbird-1.5.0.7 and noticed the following at the beginning of the emerge:

>>> Unpacking mozilla-thunderbird-1.5.0.7-patches-0.1.tar.bz2 to /Gentoo/Portage/build/portage/mozilla-thunderbird-1.5.0.7/work
>>> Unpacking thunderbird-de-1.5.0.7.xpi to /Gentoo/Portage/build/portage/mozilla-thunderbird-1.5.0.7/work
unpack thunderbird-de-1.5.0.7.xpi: file format not recognized. Ignoring.
/Gentoo/Portage/tree.lokal/mail-client/mozilla-thunderbird/mozilla-thunderbird-1.5.0.7.ebuild: line 80: xpi_unpack: command not found

Thunderbird is to be built with these flags:

[ebuild     U ] mail-client/mozilla-thunderbird-1.5.0.7 [1.5.0.5] USE="-crypt -debug gnome -ipv6 -ldap -xinerama -xprint" LINGUAS="-bg% -ca% -cs% -da% de%* -el% -en_GB% -es% -es_AR% -es_ES% -eu% -fi% -fr% -ga% -ga_IE% -gu_IN% -he% -hu% -it% -ja% -ko% -lt% -mk% -nb% -nb_NO% -nl% -pa_IN% -pl% -pt_BR% -ru% -sk% -sl% -sv% -sv_SE% -tr% -zh_CN%" 0 kB

alexander@blatt ~ $ ls -la /Gentoo/Portage/distfiles/thunderbird-de-1.5.0.7.xpi
-rw-rw-r-- 1 root portage 154310 16. Sep 10:08 /Gentoo/Portage/distfiles/thunderbird-de-1.5.0.7.xpi
alexander@blatt ~ $ md5sum /Gentoo/Portage/distfiles/thunderbird-de-1.5.0.7.xpi
f797550815bfc2514f0ea199ea8a8419  /Gentoo/Portage/distfiles/thunderbird-de-1.5.0.7.xpi

I don't know (yet), but I suppose that because of this, Thunderbird will not be localized.
