Description Jan Fredrik Leversund 2003-01-29 06:14:57 UTC
On my Gentoo Sparc64 php configure fails to detect bzip2. configure looks for
bzip2 in /usr/local, so a quick fix is to change --with-bz2 to --with-bz2=/usr
in the ebuild file.

Just tested this myself and I'm unable to replicate the problem. Are you still able to create this scenario?

Thanks,
Weeve

Hello Jan,

Can you see if you are still having this problem, or if you have upgraded to a new version of php, does that fix your problem? If I do not hear back from you in 3 days, I will close out this case.

Thanks,
Weeve

Sorry, I thought I had posted a reply earlier. No, I was not able to reproduce the bug after about a week (and after an emerge rsync, emerge -pu world), so I guess it was just a freak incident pertaining a very specific combination of ebuilds.

Please close the case if you like.

Package now emerges correctly.

Package emerges correctly for user, and gave permission to close.
