The ebuild media-video/transcode-1.0.2-r2 failed to build on Gentoo 2006.1 with something related to fame. The error was:

fame.h can be found in the following packages:

Do you have libfame installed? The config.log shows that libfame cannot be found, but the dependency is correctly stated on the ebuild.
