Description Daniel Ellermann 2006-08-31 03:21:29 UTC
emerge kdelibs ended with this error (see attachment). I already emerged all dependencies of kdelibs with "emerge --emptytree kdelibs". Also, qt3 and qt4 have been re-emerged.

It's a parallel make error. Try setting MAKEOPTS to -j1 , remove your portage tmpdir, and re-emerge.

I set MAKEOPTS="-j1" and removed portage tmpdir (/var/tmp/portage/kdelibs-3.5.2-r6), but the build error remains.

The compilation error occurs after installing a Samsung printer driver (in my case Samsung SCX-4x21) from the manufacturer CD. The Samsung installation set a link /usr/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 to /usr/lib/libqt-mt.samsung-mfp.so.3.0.4 which caused the compilation error.
